Corporate Accountant

Job Function
As a member of the Corporate Accounting Group, the principle job function of the Corporate Accountant is to account and report financial information in accordance with local accounting principles and provide meaningful financial analysis.

Job Skills and Abilities
Professional individual with ability to perform independently as well as part of a team. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


  • Monthly reporting of operating subsidiaries

  • Coordinate payments for operating subsidiaries including reviewing payment requests, entering payments into AP, and seeking approvals.

  • Maintain general ledger and perform accounting close on a monthly basis.

  • Prepare summaries of all GL accounts and reconcile all accounts with third part administrator monthly.

  • Compile and analyze budget to actual reports.

  • Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with local accounting requirements.

  • Verify data in other regulatory filings.

  • Assist in monitoring regulatory capital/liquidity compliance for subsidiaries.

  • Compile ad-hoc reports as requested by the Controller.

  • Quarterly reporting for parent company

  • Assist in quarterly closing of including preparing quarterly GL account reconciliations.

  • Assist in processing journal entries for Corporate Accounting from the firm’s main operating account.

  • Corporate Budgeting and Forecasting/Budget to Actuals Assist in the re-forecasting and budgeting process.
