Payroll Coordinators

This position will be responsible for entering and processing payroll for over 600 US employees both exempt and non-exempt. They will record items in the general ledger, reconcile payroll accounts monthly and assist the Finance and Human Resources teams with ad hoc projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process multi-state bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls using ADP

  • Communicate with ADP on any payroll issues

  • Prepare manual off-cycle payments

  • Enter general ledgers and reconcile payroll journal entries in Workday

  • Manage miscellaneous items for payrolls, including fringe benefits and deductions

  • Maintain employee 401k elections

  • Reconcile monthly bank statements

  • Respond to employee payroll related questions and issues

  • Assist with payroll and corporate annual audits

  • Assist with payroll related projects for HR and finance teams

  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required

General Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of payroll experience

  • Experience with ADP, preferably PayForce

  • Experience with Workday is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Ability to operate in a complex, fast paced, multi-business unit environment

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to interact with outside parties and personnel across all levels of the firm

  • A forward-thinking, organized individual

  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work under deadlines

  • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on high quality output

  • Capacity to discretely handle highly confidential and sensitive information

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting
