The Human Resources Coordinator will work with the HR Director with a strong focus on benefits. This individual will be responsible for the following:
Administer benefit programs including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, AD&D and retirement. Responsibilities include reviewing/approving benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in our HRIS system, Workday.
Conduct new hire benefits orientation on a weekly basis as well assist in ongoing education of employees on the benefit offerings.
Process monthly invoices for all benefit plans and employee reimbursements for various benefit programs.
Prepare benefit information packets and exit materials for employees
Assist in preparation of employee documentation including leave of absence notifications, benefit confirmations, repayment agreements, etc.
Enter employee data into 3rd party COBRA administrator’s portal for notifications
Partner with members of compensation and payroll to ensure accurate benefit deductions are submitted to payroll.
Ensure plan documents are updated on an ongoing basis to reflect accurate benefit information and are uploaded into Workday.
Respond to inquiries from employees throughout the organization including colleagues in HR in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain internal notifications and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations / laws.
Assist in yearly benefit renewal process and new benefit implementation/open enrollment.
Assist with relocation program answering questions, initiating with provider, maintaining policy and processing invoices.
Respond to ad hoc reporting needs, assist in benefits bench marking and special projects, as needed.
Provide general administrative support to the team including, scheduling of meetings/events, filing, invoices, etc.

DESIRED BACKGROUND / EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree required
Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Must have at least 2 years of benefits related experience and a minimum of 2 years of Benefits administrative experience
Candidates should have a strong interest in financial services
Workday experience a plus
