Treasury Analyst

JOB TITLE:   Treasury Analyst      


REPORTS TO:  Senior Controller


 OVERALL PURPOSE:  Looking for an individual to manage the treasury function and support the day-to-day operations of the Boston Finance Team.  This company is seeking a high-functioning team member who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment.  The ideal candidate has an acute attention to detail and works with the utmost honesty and integrity.  This position is for full time employment.



  •  Execute treasury function related to cash flow, borrowings and capital management

  • Ensure policies and procedures are in place and functioning so that organization and regulatory needs are met

  • Manage bank accounts with multiple financial institutions, including, but not limited to opening/closing accounts, compliance procedures (KYC, Dodd Frank, verification procedures, borrower compliance etc.)

  • Prepare wires for all Limited Partner, General Partner and Management company teams

  • Perform callbacks for wire instructions relating to new deal closings, new vendors, new Limited Partners, etc. 

  • Responsible for the maintenance of stored wire information for internal and external parties

  • Responsible for the administration of on-line banking platforms

  • Prepare wires for all Limited Partner, General Partner and Management company teams

  • Work with compliance department to ensure they are aware of the companies banking relationships

  • Confirm that all wires have been approved prior to end of day cut off from banks and alert respective teams if wires still pending

  • Assist Finance Team with year-end audit

  • Other administrative duties and projects as assigned



  • Excellent organizational skills and a systematic approach to completing tasks

  • Experience dealing with large sums of money

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to exercise tact, sound judgment

  • Must be able to respond to variable workflow and maintain composure in a high-pressure environment

  • Capable of maintaining confidentiality

  • Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality.  Flexibility to come in early or stay late on short notice

  • Team player with a “Can do” attitude

  • Detail oriented; Strong organizational and people skills

  • Proactively seeks and identifies additional projects

  • Accepts constructive feedback, learns from mistakes

  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with various online banking platforms a plus

  • 5 + years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor Degree required
